For 127 years, Coca-Cola has been bringing people together and, as we all know, when people come together, good things happen! It is important to realize that these are challenging times for our environment and we also realize that it has never been more important for all of us to responsibly collaborate to improve our planet, our communities and our lives. As part of the Coca-Cola’s Live Positively commitment, water stewartship is one of seven focus areas that we believe is key to maintaining sustainable communities.
Our donation of 25 recycled syrup drums for reuse as rain barrels in Erie County and the surrounding communities will save over 25,000 gallons of water per year!
Through the great work done by the Department of Erie County Environment and Planning we realize that today is a day for all of us to make a difference. We would like to thank our Director of Operations, Pat Greco, who explained the importance of the students’ projects and preventing pollution at the media event – well done! Fantastic job to all of the schools who participated and Congratualtions to the top three!
